Drummer, percussionist, teacher, composer and producer, Guillermo McGuill has played with the most important Jazz and Flamenco musicians in the world: Enrique Morente, Dave Liebman, Tete Montoliu, Juan Manuel Cañizares, John Abercrombie, Wynton Marsalis, Marc Johnson, George Mraz, Wallace Roney, Niño Josele, Eliane Elias, Perico Sambeat, Esperanza Fernández, Mayte Martín, Arcángel, etc.

Some highlights:

Member of the trio de Chano Dominguez along with Javier Colina, with which he participated in the film Calle 54, of Fernando Trueba and the subsequent tour.
Collaborations with J.M. Serrat for 3 years, with Ana Belén (Lorquiana), Martirio and Javier Ruibal.
Six cd´s as a leader and over 70 records as sideman.
Conocerts in some of the most prestigious theaters in the world: Carnegie Hall, Marinsky Theatre, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Real Theatre, National Auditorium, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, etc as well as in many other Jazz and Flamenco festivals around the world.
Teacher in the most important Spanish music schools since 1984: Music Workshop of Barcelona, Musicians Workshop of Madrid, Creative Music School or Musikene.
Producer of Ana Salazar in “Canta a Edith Piaf” and “Claros del alma”, by Juan Cortés in “Jurepén”, among others.

Graduation with the qualification of Outstanding at the Taller de Músics of Barcelona Studies from 13 to 18 years old with the Master of Drums Aldo Caviglia
